USGA Senior Open Qualifier Albuquerque Country Club June 29th, 2009

found himself three shots clear of his nearest competitor to take the medalist honors. This will be Steve’s first trip to a Senior Open, but this is by no means his first USGA event. He has qualified for a US Amateur and two US Opens, most recently the 2002 Open at Bethpage Black. Furthermore, Steve, a Nationwide Tour Veteran, has made over 200 cuts throughout his career which made today’s closing holes a bit easier than they could have been.
