SCAGA Senior Four Ball Final Results
Socorro, NM - The 2012 Senior Four Ball was perhaps the most perfect golf weather anyone could ask for. Temperatures hovered around the 90 degree mark both days with very little wind. The Senior Gross division champions of Lee Sanchez and Richard Alarid both of Santa Fe, N.M., lead wire to wire to win the Gross Championship division by four shots over the team of Dr. Tom DeCoster and Nico Spence, both of Albuquerque, N.M.
The senior net division had 13 of the 14 teams fire rounds under par the first round. Much of the same took place the second round where 12 of the 14 teams shot rounds under par. In the end, the team of Dennis Schramm and John Klein of Rio Rancho, N.M. tied the team of David Vanhorne and his partner Ben Jackson both of Alamogordo, N.M. for first place. Both teams fired very impressive two-day totals of 132.
